Shanmuga KS, also known as Shan, is the Founder and CEO of Tachyon Systems, an award-winning platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to facilitate rapid application development. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Shan is an expert in software engineering, computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning. Shan's passion for innovation and technology led him to establish Tachyon, which has received numerous accolades and recognitions, including the Best Start-Up of the Year 2019 in the Asia Pacific region and being named one of the Top 10 Promising Start-Ups of 2020 in Australia by Startup Network. Shan has also partnered with industry leaders such as Amazon, Google, and IBM, receiving combined technology funding worth USD 320K. Prior to founding Tachyon, Shan established Zyllu Computation, a dedicated offshore development center for Tachyon Systems. The team of software engineers at Zyllu works remotely around the globe to achieve the single mission of Tachyon. Shan also organized the Foundestors Club, a group and event for the startup ecosystem in Melbourne, bringing investors and startups together. Shan's education history includes a Machine Learning degree from Stanford University, a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, and completing his 6th to 12th standard education at Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School, Teppakulam, Trichy, with a focus on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
